You folks are amazing.

You said earlier that you do construction work. What type do you do?

The ignition box bracket is welded and ready for finishing and installation.
Are these Fox body seats? They look so close to my 86 Mustang seats in shape? Maybe not, just sayin. Also, got a steering wheel suggestion if you are lookin for something different. Grant has a nice wheel and adapter that's under $100 bucks but feels awesome. I have the same dash and interior color and am pretty happy with the black on maroon contrast!

They are a set of used Recaro Specialist M seats I picked uo a few years ago, i believe they were in a VW Vanagon. Lots of manufacturers have used Recaro from time to time so its entirely possible they are the same.

I like your wheel, that looks good.
I picked up a wheel already but I'm not liking the dish on it, not sure it's gonna work too well.

Dad has most of the work done on the radio face plate panel. Have to do some polishing yet but it is all cut in and bent.

We still have to mount the new window and door switches, but they will go in the console between the shifter and cup holder similar to a 3rd / 4th gen F body. Not sure if I will mount the driving light switch near them or pick a different spot on the dash.

Got the window / lock switches installed. Working on the wiring.

You can see in these photos that the console would need a ton more work to be painted. The plan is to have a 1/4" of scrim foam and then have the upholstery shop wrap it to match the interior.

I'm toying with an arm rest design for the door panel. I think this one is a bit bulky and doesn't hide the door handle very well, but we'll see what else I come up with.

Relocated the ignition box to make room for the new battery.

I guess I should have cleaned the wax off the box from the cut and buff of the fender before the picture. 😎🤬🤏

I picked this cowl air cleaner up a while back, just got around to fitting it and it came with enough adapters that it was spot on with the Goodmark hood, RPM airgap intake and FAST ez efi 2.0. I'll put a taller filter in it and either a filter hat or an aluminum hat for some dress up factor. I'll also have the snorkel tube and breather tube on bottom removed and blocked off.

Love it. When you get a chance, post some pictures of the exterior and interior of your hood.

Just a 2" steel cowl hood, no flap that opens with vacuum like a true cowl hood, but it is vented at the cowl to draw air.

It is a seperate / sealed compartment in the hood like it is supposed to be, if a person were interested in it they sell a flap kit that could be installed, but i like it this way i think it looks cleaner.

I'll make a custom under hood heat shield/mat before it's all said and done. Probably a core support cover too.

Too much? I went with wrinkle black to match the rest of the engine components, and fins similar to valve covers.

Still need taller filter, and the paint hasn't cured enough for final assembly. I had to get a picture though.
