Hardest part about dropping a tank is getting the fill pipe out, since it has to come out on an angle, without dumping the tank off the jack.

If I don’t figure it out pretty quick it’ll be for sale!I'm confident, you got this!
Sounds great sitting stillI’ll take it.😁
I think I found the problem. This is a diesel can and this brown junk is what’s coming out of the tank. I bought a in line electric transfer pump and put it down by the fuel pump on the block and this is what came out. Tank coming out Saturday morning 😎Strap a gas can to the front of the car and run a hose to the pump. That will tell you what direction to go.You could strap one to the rear and come off you fuel line to the tank to eliminate that also.

looks like you struck oil! just like old Jed Clampett!Today’s update.. special shout-out to minoridertim for all the help today. We got the tank out and it’s really nasty.. not able to be cleaned .. a new one from Rock Auto is on the way.. more pictures to come.. thank you for following..
Thanks Rick. I appreciate you. It’s not an ideal working spot but sometimes you have to do with what ya got. I do have car backed in on 4x8 sheets of ply and the jack stands have another piece under them. 2 floor jacks are being used. I never get under a car without them. Please be careful in this extremely hot weather!! Its killer hot. And be careful with your jack stands on soft, hot-soaked asphalt.
Please don't become a statistic. Just saying. . .
Rick
