I've decided to let go of my 72. (for whatever reason I can't stop myself) Can't wait to see what number 16 will be!!
Anyways here's the scoop. 1972 with a 454 BBC, 400 turbo, 12 bolt (non posi.) rear end. It came from California with a 350 but has been swapped over to the 454. Demon carb, headers, duel electric fans, aluminum Rad. New battery, starter, alternator, alarm (with engine kill) new coil assist shocks in rear.
It's and A/C car but needs the compressor and lines, bench seat, power steering, front dist brakes. It has a radio however it doesn't work and I haven't checked it but the dash has not be cut so that's always a good thing.
It has some rust, (quarters, and under the vinyl top. (frame is solid and floor pans are good, bed as well.
So it's not a show car (yet) it has all the markings of an SS but without the build sheet I'm not even going to go there. If it's a clone someone spent more money cloning it than they would have buying one.:dontknow:
I'll be offering it on Dallas Craigslist for $10,500, but for a member I'd do $9500.
I'll be bringing it to Arlington for the 60th (that's why I bought it!!)
If you private message me I'll send you pics of whatever you want and give you my phone number to contact me. I'll post up some pics and add info as needed.
I'd like to see it go to a member but if I get stuck with it. what a bummer!! (NOT:banana:)

Wow what a deal!!!! If I didn't have my 69, I would be on my way to pick this one up..

What is the rear end ratio?

You know the trouble with owning one of these is your going to be hard pressed to find another old car that handles and rides so well, these el Caminos have a good weight balance and the 68-72 years have a massive frame under them that really helps them handle so well...

Good luck with your sale..
