Hello Everyone,

Well I just purchased a complete front end kit for my 67 el camino. I took all the tie rods out of the packages and walked away, when I came back I forgot which ones where the inner and which ones where the outer. How can I figure out which ones are which. Any help is appreciated..Thanks

check the boxes they came in, may say on the box, or are all 4 part numbers the same (means they're interchangeable). If diff, just call the parts store with one of the 2 numbers and ask if it's an inner or an outer, the other one is the other one (that's gov't speak! LOL)

I'd look at the ones still on the car if they are still on it

The difference is the threads. Two are right handed, two are left. Look under your car at the adjusting sleeves to figure it out.

I could tell by the position of the grease fitting on mine. Two were on the back, two were on the side so they didn't hit the crossmember.
