For those who have never seen the MuscleCar episode that stars a burgandy El Camino SS-396, I just found that the show is again available for watching free of charge. Here is the information on how to access the show. I have no idea how long it will be available this time.

Here is the connection to the MuscleCar episode :

http://www.powerblocktv.com/episode/MC2010-11/blue-collar-buick-tail-lights#.V7tFxd_Oeothttp://www.powerblocktv.com/episode/MC2010-11/blue-collar-buick-tail-lights#.V7tFxd_Oeothttp://www.powerblocktv.com/episode/MC2010-11/blue-collar-buick-tail-lights#.V7tFxd_Oeothttp://www.powerblocktv.com/episode/MC2010-11/blue-collar-buick-tail-lights#.V7tFxd_Oeothttp://www.powerblocktv.com/episode/MC2010-11/blue-collar-buick-tail-lights#.V7tFxd_Oeot

that features my El Camino. Either click on the URL or copy and paste it into the address bar. Now, select “Episodes”, then “2010”, then go to “Blue Collar Buick Taillights” . The Elky has about 5 to 6 minutes of fame in the show.

Or you can click on the link that follows, or copy and paste it, and it will take you directly to the episode “Blue Collar Buick Taillights”. Enjoy………………Ken

Nice ride Ken!

I watched the episode. When I get home, I'll download the episode and see if I can edit it for only the part with your car. Not sure it will work the way I plan, but let's see! :)

Thanks, All...................

This episode never gets old to me. I guess that makes me a conceited jerk! :dontknow: But I'll continue to watch it as many times as I possibly can. I wish there was some way we could get some other Elkies out there in similar shows......................Ken

You should be very proud Ken! Your truck looks, sounds and runs awesome, I hope one day I can get mine in that kind of shape! If I had mine looking that sharp and in a TV show, you can bet I would watch that over and over.

Congrats and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Ken, no luck with trying to get the episode. Tried a few different apps to snatch the episode but all I could get was the 1st 15 second commercial no matter what I used.

Sorry! :-(

BTW, did you see this EC on eBay? Nice car, somewhat like yours (color scheme). Not too far from me and I am interested in it.

Hard to believe that the Elky is in that good of shape without at least some restoration - paint? But it happens, and whoever gets that one is going to have a great start at a real winner. I am a bit concerned that he gives very little information on the Elky. Most of the written record applies to the extra engine. I wonder if the Elky is numbers Matching, or if the extra engine is the factory engine for the car. Oh, well, there's a phone number -but I've already got mine. If not, I'd probably be a player if the price was right........................Ken

Yes, not sure exactly what the deal is here. One pic on the passenger side you can see the hood up and looks like a BB in it. The titla says a 396/350 motor but the description clearly indicates you get an "extra" 396/375 motor and 4 speed trans.

I am looking for a 3rd or 4th gen, keeping my eye out for the "right" one. Had a few (probably 10 or so) '68 & '69 SS's in my younger days, really like them! :)

Attached is a pic of a '75 Classic I had for years, daily driver.

I am going to call later today, probably take a ride down to see it. I hate buying something site unseen. Did that with my '69 Z-10 Camaro when I bought it back in 2000 from a guy from Texas. I feel like I got lucky, was better than described!

Here is another one, a 4th gen that is also interesting, but I think his "Buy-It-Now" price indicates what he will let it go for and is pricey in my opinion:

Yessir................

HEY !! that is yours! how cool is that?
I can't deny it - It's mine, Ed. Nine hours of filming for 5 to 6 minutes of air time. But it sure was fun! I burned 1 1/2 tanks of gas that day, with the secondaries in full song about 75 percent of the time...........................Ken

You had a Great lookin' 4th Gen there! And the one for sale looks good too. I agree that the price is pretty steep - just make sure the car, its equipment, and its history all check out. My personal preference is the 3rd Gens, but Hey!, different strokes for different folks! Cordovan Maroon Metallic is the same color as mine, and I'm told that it's a very rare color for El Caminos. It was a 1-year only color selection for GM...................Ken

Ken, no matter what people say, you're not conceited.:poke:

BTW, I have this episode on my DVR. Does anyone know if it's possible to save a show from the DVR's hard drive to a removable thumb drive for storage on a PC?
