Hello everyone,
I need some parts to get my a/c going. It is getting HOT down here in New Orleans and I need my a/c. I am on a tight budget so I figured I would see if anyone has any of these parts on the cheap. It's a 1976 classic with a 400 sbc and factory air. I bought it a few months ago and PO's removed a bunch of stuff. Here are the parts that I need.
  • compressor
  • condenser
  • discharge hose
  • suction hose (or the whole hose assembly)
  • liquid line

Thanks in advance.

In my humble opinion, reusing any of those items is a false economy waste of your money and effort.

They are all filthy dirty and contaminated with R12 oil on the inside and are not "barrier hoses" that are suitable for R134A refrigerant. That condenser is also not a parallel flow type which works best for the 134.

Save your money and buy an aftermarket kit.

Rick
