Spending $300 on a carb rebuild never guarentees it was done correctly.Leaking well plugs means fuel is dripping out the bottom of the fuel bowl into the intake. I haven't touched an idle stop solenoid in years, but I seem to remember that you unscrew the plunger bolt to raise the idle when activated.It,s always good to know what cam specs you have. You may need slightly different timing setting to run best, Also may need idle mixture screws richened(turned out) to achieve maximum vacuum readings.
