Hello Everybody,

I got my first classic a few weeks ago. A pretty 64 El Camino. It is in the shop now having a few things done (seat belts, windshield wipers, horn) so I can get it inspected and registered.

I look forward to learning a lot from everyone here.

So Darryl, Have you found the annual Calendars yet?
I've looked at the calendar but I don't understand what is going on there yet.
I'm not sure which calendar Gale is talking about - two possibilities;

NECOA has printed regional picture calendars of El Caminos each year. Here's a link to the one from Central & North Texas 2016. http://www.zazzle.com/calendar_7-158760789420725278

The other possibility is the regional events calendar, which you can find by clicking on "Home" icon at the upper left of the screen and then clicking on "Forums". If you scroll down to near the bottom of that page, you will see a list of Regionional Discussion sub forums. Texas is Region 13. In the upper part of that page, you will see a button for
"Region 13 (TX) Calendar of Events". For some unknown glitch, the calendar always comes up as "Feb 2011". You have to click on "Show Today" to get to the current month. Unfortunately, we have not not been very good at keeping up the calendar but, I'll work on it. In the mean time, there are car shows all over the DFW area every weekend. If you're interested, let me know and maybe we can meet up at one.

I'm looking forward to checking out your 64.
