I am going to replace the fabric on my seat as well. I am wondering where to find the foam that will need to be replaced i in order for the covers to fit correctly?

I bought my interior from stock interiors. My 79 was orderEd View attachment 153113 with 50/50 seats. Fit was good but I added my own foam.

Great job. When you say you added your foam , did you cut out new pieces from blocks? Thanks

Looks nice. I am thinking of buying a set for my 84. Maroon cloth. I talked to Stock Interiors. They do not cross reference or use the code that GM uses for interior. They do send samples which is nice. With a 3month delivery time, I better get going on this.!

Thanks for your reply. Very helpful. I have requested samples from Stock Int. and will order soon. I went to a local top and seat shop. To replace my covers with the same material, and install them would be $4200. To install my covers cost would be $960. He also said he could not start till June. Stock Int. says 50 working days. His rate is $120 hr. I have already removed my seats, taken apart the covers and form. Luckily my foam is in good condition. My current covers are not in bad shape. Got dinged on the appraisal because the drivers side piping had worn through for about 6" on the left side. Would make a good set for a driver car.

Ordered seat covers from Stockinteriors. Now the wait. 50 working days. Just about the amount of time before we start driving classic cars in Vermont.
