i lost my dash lights on lumpy, it has a olds cutlass dash swap from a p/o
i checked all fuses and changed the headlight switch still no lights,
any ideas , thanks yall :beer:

Had my 87 dash lights go out & had to replace the printed circuit part !!

i dont want to hear that ,, olds dash very hard to find:beer:thanks for the reply

Woody, pull the cluster and check for voltage at the end of the harness. If it is there you may be able to see the break in the printed circuit and solder a jumper across it.

Ok464 but doesnt power go thru headlight switch first??
im lost really need some help here thanks

This was going to be my reply concerning possible PCB issues.

My other thought is good grounding, as these are ESSENTIAL for smooth operating of GM dash clusters. I typically scrub all of my contacts (PCB included) with a 3M Scotchbrite pad to brighten them up, then smear of corrosion resistant/connection enhancing Kopr-Shield to ensure an excellent connection and prevent a dash-light dimming corroded connection.
