So I’m a new owner of a 1980 El Camino Super Sport. Although I cannot find where I am supposed to put my oil into the car. Hoping someone on here can help me out LOL.
In ‘85 GM called for 5w30. If yours is a seasoned original or older build, parts store 5/30 or 10/30 should be fine. If it’s a fresh build or new cam and lifters, run Brad Penn, Joe Gibbs or something like them with extra zinc (ZDDP) or you’ll lose your cam lobes and have to start over.

Welcome from Canada Blake. As everyone knows oil changes are one of the most important and least expensive maintenance tasks you can perform on your Camino.Kinda fun too, lol.Enjoy the site Blake! ?
