A 78 LeSabre is not a "G" body. 78 Le Sabre was a "B" body along with the Riviera according to my May 79 Motor's Crash Book.
"G" bodies were called "A" bodies when introduced in 78. The only Buicks were century and regal. Chevys were el camino, monte carlo, and malibu. Pontiacs were LeMans, Grand Am and Grand Prix, Olds were Cutlass.
