I had seen slight rust build up on the furthest point of the rod away from piston.. and on the nuts that tighten them down...

I was wondering if that would call to get them dipped again.. or to just build it and run.. will it cause issues in the long haul?

You can do a couple of things,, at Advance (I think) is rust desolve,, you can soak them and the rust goes away,, hand scuff with a scotch bright pad & PB Blaster and clean with brake clean,,, go to you tube and search rust removal,, wire brush on a bench grinder works well too,, I dont think you will have any issues down the road as long as the rust is not too bad,,Matty man
