The fuel lines are in pristine condition, and don't want to hack them up.
I'd like to mount a pump under the hood if possible.
My other option is a tank mounted pump.
Anyone running an electric pump in the engine compartment?
Thanks.

running a electric under the hood is not the best place for them.the optimal place for the pump is nearest the tank.

Pretty much what I thought..I'm sure I'll figure something out to make a clean adaptation to the existing steel tubing.
Thanks.

mount it to the frame rail near the tank so you dont have to damage your steel lines. use fuel injection hose ,it is stronger and will live better.we mounted my buddies to the frame just at the end of his steel line.

the regulator can be anywhere in relation to the pump as long as it is after it.on the fender well away from exhaust and engine heat is best
