I'm constantly reading about folks going with 18 and 20 inch wheels. I've got
225/70 15's and when the wheels are turned sharply to the right or left, I get
wheel rub. Are you cutting out the wheel wells to get these tires in??? :dontknow:

yep your 70 series tires are the issue, i had the same problem with a set of 225-70-15
swapped to a set of 225-60-15 and no rubbing issues

18s would probably be 40 series and 20s around 30 series. taller the rim the less tire you can run.

My vette runs 275/45/17s in front and 295/40/17 in the rear.
I am swapping to 295/40/18 front and 325/30/18 rear. All about getting the right size.

Ride quality suffers with low profile tires on an ELKY. Even my wifes Lexus with low profile tires rides rougher than her previous Lexus did with 65 series tires.

Thanks!!! Thought that might be the problem. Like the look of the 70 series and the darn things are brand spanking new, with maybe 400 miles or so on them. I guess I'll just let them "rub" away...LOL.:You_Rock:

if you are rubbing at full lock you could try running 1/4 inch spacers on the front see if that helps if its rubbing on the frame at full turn
