My 72 has been lowered with replacement A arms with dropped spring pockets. I would like to know what the measurement from the ground to the center of the outside of the wheel opening is with 15” wheels. The has a 350 engine. I don’t want to have to change the A arms.

Anybody else? That 27 q/2” sounds low to me. My lowered car is at 25” and that is with 14” wheels on the front.
Wheels do not matter. It is the overall diameter of the tire that matters as far as height.

My '70 on tired old springs, no air shocks, no air bags, I am not running tall tires:
Front: 25 inches ground to highest part of wheel opening (of fender) with 26 in (as measured) diameter tires. 225/50/17
Rear: 24 1/2 inches ground to highest part of wheel opening (of fender) with 26 1/2 diameter tires. 255/50/17

If I was running taller tires like 27" diameter in front, I would add half that distance difference, because only half would be below the spindle. One inch taller tire up front would raise the front 1/2 inch.
