Custom hoses are available in a lot of metropolitan areas. I'm not sure where you are but you if you search, I'm sure you can find them. You may find an AC guy that can help you

Anyone have any suggestions on doing this?

I woould love to move the one hose that crosses he engine to a less offensive spot.
Any a/c shop can custom build what your are looking for.

If you have ever considered adding serpentine drive to the front of your engine, that will move the compressor to the driver's side. Not saying that would be cheaper than custom hoses, but just wanted to make sure that if a serp drive was in your future, doing that could combine cleaner hoses as well.

x2 on Darbysan's reco.

I did a serp conversion on my 305 without realizing it would move the compressor over. The kit is from a Camaro so I used the condenser from that car as it has the connections on that side. I want to say the Camaro lines would have worked but i ended doing a custom line for perfect fit.
