People’s Republic of Kalifornistan fails to recognize that someone would own a truck for personal reasons.

From what I remember in 1974 when I registered my first ute in California, the reason for the commercial plates was said to be requested by the trucker's unions.

Back in the early 50's when I lived in Bermuda, we had a sedan. It held 2 adults, us three little kids and the German Shephard. I think the neighbor had a small car, like an MG. One day the Shephard got traded by our Mom for two watermelons. As Dad ate watermelon, he said it was a good trade.
