I have a 71 el camino stock height
I want 20 “ rims on the rear and 18” on the front
What do I need to know to order these
I want the widest ties that won’t rub

I'm sure someone here can help you. I had a 70 model with 255/60/15 tires on the rear and they fit OK with Corvette 8" rally's. They did rub if I tried to use my ElCo as a truck though. Normal driving, no problems. Discount tires comparison would put a 235/40/20 close if the back-spacing were the same. On the front were 225/70/15 making a 225/55/18 pretty close keeping stock backspacing on 7" rallys. Hope this helps!

Have you considered putting shocks other than air shocks on and adding air bags inside the rear springs?
I am using 255 50 17 in rear and 225 55 17 in front on real 2 piece Coddington Junk Yard Dogs.
I don't feel a need to go bigger up front.
I might be able to go up to about 295 50 17 in back.
These are on 10 bolt rear end and not on a Ford/Currie 9 inch rear end.
