it has, and I quote, "heated vegan leather seats"

now would be the time to bring back an El Camino hybrid, better mpg than any truck due to aerodynamics

I’ve seen similar videos. Nice watching them . Good to know that I have some works ahead of me

Not quite plug and play quite yet. 😮

I like how this guy gives us a reality check concerning EV conversions.
He never did though, show the finished product with his '29 Rat Rod.

A contemporary version of an El Camino would be fine for me... though I'm spoiled having an extra cab. I'd prefer something more like the Hyundai Santa Cruz concept.

Side note here... I've been watching "Long Way Up". Ewan and Charlie are riding electric Harleys from Argentina to Los Angeles this time... and the support crew is driving 2 Rivians. Interesting to see the complications of using electric vehicles... especially in remote areas.
Chevrolet Performance has been working on their eCrate motor series for a while now. Likely to come out within the next year or two. The one in this article I guess would be seen as more of a 350 alternative but I know they have others like the one in the electric COPO Camaro they did a year or two ago that was closer to 700hp.
Saw that article also. For anyone really interested, stay tuned and check the GM performance catalog next year...
For me, a big part of the street machine experience is the sound. Not giving up that thumping V8, even if it's just a cooking variety 350.

Saw another article with a couple option prices -- $3000 "Kitchen" (tailgating?)
But I'm still giggling over the video I saw demonstrate their "tank mode" by spinning donuts in the mud. Too much fun. :p:ROFLMAO: My kids had a RC racer on tank treads that would do that, but it only weighed a pound or two.
For $75K - I'll import a Holden SSV from Australia; send it to the folks in Colorado and have it converted to left hand drive; and still have change! View attachment 133606 Holden SSV from Australia ; send it to the folks in Denver for conversion to left hand drive and still have enough

Cool ride! Those wheels got my attention.
