ok, folks, this is it, the poll is closed. we gave it 3 weeks for responses and after all that, the consensus BEST DATE is September 30. The LAST SATURDAY in September.

So, you now have officially 4 months to get ready. Make your El Camino/Caballero pretty, wash and wax her, get that last minute mod done, a new set of shoes for traction, and be ready for some hopefully cooler weather in late September in Texas.

I’m ready.
