7 months of blood, sweat, tears, cursing, hair pulling, bruises, cramps, ruined shirts, broken parts, throwing tools, breaking tools, replacing *said parts and tools, scrubbing for hours to get out dirt and, loss of sleep I finally have 150 miles on my new 350 and th350 and she runs great. Oh how I missed driving her.

Thanks to everyone that has helped. Thanks Donny and John for posting about Todd the carb specialist.

Im trying to convince myself not to start another long project with her....:texas:

Awesome news! Sounds like there's going to be a pack of fresh small blocks in Belton this year! :nanawrench:

I'm keeping it under 80 and not racing off the line but the 120hp difference is noticeable.

I let her sit today to see if any fluid leaks. I'm hoping not. I'll look into getting to Belton this year again. 3.73 would be fun but I like gas mileage. I've been talking to a friend about rear disc brake conv bushing coils suspension and gear ratio (he can get 30% discount on stuff). I can't believe how much I missed driving her that I'm not ready to tear her apart again yet.

Thanks everyone it does feel great to say I've accomplished this feat.

Sounds great! Only seven months of misery ? You got away easy. Repowering and restoring my white car took a couple of hard years. The body guy and painter had me so frustrated that I lost many nights of sleep.
I know the feeling of finally busting out on the road with your ride. Good luck with it !
