Jay , Skinyfisher and I are also planning on going to this event and hope others will join in . We have a motel reso for a couple of days near the show . As a member of the National Muscle Car Assoc. , I receive their monthly magazine Fastest Street Car that is full of top shelf racing at these events . Their popularity continues to grow and more classes have been added , providing a kick butt show . There is a well attended car show portion that we will enter as well as a swap meet section . Sooo , who else wants to attend ?

Tom , I will look to see , and I think the swap meet section is both days . Anyone else know ? How is your cruise going ?

I forgot all about this meet. I am committed to a meet in Oviedo on 3/18 for Heros and Hotrods. It's a Veterans gig and going with car friends. Maybe we can get together for dinner or something or can meet Friday or Sunday while your in town. I'm still doing Gainesville late March.

We plan to attend at least one day. I also will try to attend the Oviedo "Heros" event.
How about the West Coast Muscle Car Show in Bonita March 25th.

I looked on their site at www.nmcadigital.com to preregister and found that pregisration is not needed or available . It said that when you pull up to the ticket booth at the track to just tell them what you want to buy a ticket for . If you are doing the Show And Shine , which is the car show event , they will give you a ticket to present at the car show tent and complete registration there . The show and Shine is both Sat. and Sun. You can buy a ticket for either day or just one day . Sat. is the Top/Best Of awards and Sun. is class awards . They will ask you what class you want to enter . The choices are available for viewing on the site . As an entrant you will be able to see the Midway products , racing etc. I did not see if there is a separate swap meet portion or if that is considered part of their Midway . I`m excited to see the SpeedWorld Orlando track . The NMCA was previously held at the Bradenton Racetrack . This new venue is supposed to be top notch . Hoping that my 59 will be ready but will attend with or without an entry . Anyone else interested ?

Planning on meeting Jay and Chuck on Friday afternoon for this NMCA event and would love for others to join in the fun . My 59 will not be ready and hoping that the shop , Gearhead Performance , that Jay got me in to will schedule the work in the next few weeks , so I will drive up from the Fl. Keys in my daily driver . Maybe I should enter my hooptie ride in the car show ?

Not sure this is the first year at this venue, but it would be a good idea. Is our hotel on your way to the track?
Also if you are near our hotel did you want to join us for dinner Friday? Cherokee Bodie Bill said he was. I'm not sure if I was staying for Saturday night but Jay and Lenny are so that's another option.

Want to touch base with you as I just got off the phone with Jay ( Skinyfisher ) . The forecast is calling for more rain than previously predicted for Friday and especially on Sat. and Sunday . He is going to call the track and see what they say , if they have plans on calling off the racing etc. . Too early to tell now but want to mention this . Jay suggested that we look at weather underground.com as he says they are the best source of info for that area . He has until early Thursday morning to cancel the three motel nights we have reserved . I reall want to attend this event and hoping for good news . I got my hooptie Camry ready for the ride .

10-4. 90% all day Saturday. If that happens, the field where car show is will be muddy 🙁

Tonights up date is no better will check tomorrow getting there on Friday is no issue but late friday night it starts and does not look good. everybody watch the weather I suggest calling the track in case I do not get through and find out how they handle an event when this happens

Like Chuck my Elco is ready for the Hot Rods and Heroes Saturday and it is early meet because I'm helping organize the Central Fla Classic Trk Group so we're all parking together. The rain supposed to start around 1100 so hopefully it will be couple hours of show before the rain. That said I'd like to my car under roof till Sat morning. So I'm bowing out of dinner Fri night. Didn't we have weather problems last year for Gainesville??
Gainesville looks good weatherwise for end of month.....so far.
