I put in a request to Ken for an emailer to go out to those who have been active in Region 14. Hopefully, we'll get a good turn out! :beer:

I think a good meeting spot will be to the right of the Best Western, if we can find some parking. Otherwise, maybe we could meet up on the other side of the event at the Plaquemine Lock parking lot as seen below:

As you can see, there is a cross-walk to the main event directly across the river. I'm really not sure how the parking will be on that side though, and there are no guarantees we'll have enough for everyone.

I second this location. There appears to be a decent amount of parking there, and, like you said, the place shouldn't be open during the morning to afternoon time. As far as time goes, 10am should be a good time to meet up...before it gets too hot!:dontknow:

Guys, it rained all around the show, over cast an cool, nice show too bad u DID NOT SHOW UP. Jar head Jim, Josh & Bayou elky were there at 10 AM waiting on u.
