so for those of you with short memories, here's what the dash will look like eventually. kind of a 66/67 chevelle top section and 60-62 vette bottom section/console. that's where I got the inspiration anyway. (I think 5th gen dashes may be the ugliest dashes ever inflicted on a motor vehicle)

That will be cool, but you DO know that the only way to start a project is lay it on the garage floor, spray it with starting fluid and hook up a battery.

Thats how its done in Texas.
