I'm planning to start some dash lighting maintenance soon & wonder if there is a source for a tach that could be mounted in-dash to replace the original factory clock.

I just replaced the clock in my '84 with a Tic-Toc-Tach I bought from Mike's Montes. You'll also need the tach filter which comes with the connector that attaches to the white wire under the dash. Easy job. If you're replacing your dash bulbs with LED's, some are picky about polarity so if it doesn't work, pull the bulb and rotate it 180 degrees and that should fix it.

My el Camino has a large clock but has all the other gauges, how hard is it to take out the clock and put in the tach? I looked at mikes montes but I only see the 8 grand tach.
