i have a 79 el camino that ive finally started working on after about 7 years sitting in the field and i noticed that the tie rod end is rubbing on the rim and wheel weights on the passenger side...driver side is fine...changed the spindle didnt make any difference...any suggestions?

Welcome, from Texas. Are the wheels the same on both sides? Could be different backset.

check the offset on the wheel thats on that side,my not be the right wheel??? unless it has a incorrect rotor ?

ill have to take a look at it...i just got back to work on it the beginning of this week...i did notice the tie rod on the passenger side is different....looks slightly bulkier..not sure if that could be the cause

hmm all the rims are the same size...changed the rotor and spindle..there is clearance there now but not much...its got 14 inch rims on it right now looking into gettin 15 in iroc wheels
