I am looking for a good, low priced converter. I know B&M is good stuff, but pricey. I found a Hughes Performance, and an Assault Racing that fit my needs. Anyone have opinions on these? Thanks in advance.

408 cid Roller motor with .600 lift and and occasional hair spray. Can't wait to run her this spring. 3.73 gears with th350Here's the deal. You wanna play but don't wanna pay. HP transmission parts aren't cheap. What's in your motor that requires a high stall?

It's a 350, bored .030, 292 hyd.cam, roller rockers, eddy performer manifold,Q-jet, th350, and 273 posi. Nothing too radical. I would like to be able to buy the good stuff, but finances wont let me, and I need it going. Just a poor boy in Texas, trying to live the dream. Got most of the parts from a co-worker at steal of a deal, including the block. Even the tranny was free. Here's the deal. You wanna play but don't wanna pay. HP transmission parts aren't cheap. Tim, with those specs you can run a 2200 stall and be within budget. You can run a 12 inch converter that's been modified and be fine. :beer:It's a 350, bored .030, 292 hyd.cam, roller rockers, eddy performer manifold,Q-jet, th350, and 273 posi. Nothing too radical.
