im working on my new interior and looked at my gauges the whole two of them and i cant help thinking that i want more i want real gauges and i have no idea what kind to get and what will fit how to do it or even where to start. its the stock 1980 interior if that helps at all.

It all depends if you want stock gauges or aftermarket like I did !!

You have lots of options. Depending on your buget and skill level. I changed mine from single speedo to full factory gages with a tach. Then later on (16 years) gutted the whole thing out and installed Auto Meter Gages. Do your home work (learn to read wiring diagrams) and ask lots of questions there are lots of people like myself on here that are willing to help you and show you what and how they've done it.

well what bezel would fit in my dash sense i have the stock bezel with the stupid huge rectangular spedo that only goes to 85

You can make something like this one Or make it they way you want it !!

You don't need to take the dash out !! On my 84 I just took the gauge bezel off then removed the gauge pod out !! Installed the gauges & wired them to the harness & put it back in !!

Hey 87nexttolast1 did your steering wheel come wrapped like that or did you do that? ive never noticed them being like leather wrapped on the later ones if they are.
