Just puchased and received a brake booster for 66. I need the fitting that goes in the intake manifold and the vaccuum line that runs from that to the check valve....Dont know the size, etc. Any info would be great, thanks. This is kind of a dumb ?, but any help is appreciated. thanks.

A bit more info may help. Some carbs have a power brake vacuum tube/nipple on the back side. If yours comes directly from the intake manifold, behind the carb etc, you need to know the pipe-thread size of the hole, like 1/4 or 3/8 pipe, and need an elbow from there to the hose size. The hose is 3/8' most of the time. Measure the size of the check valve on the booster, where the hose connects, which is the size hose you need.
Most auto parts stores have fittings, and even Lowes home improvement stores have a lot of brass fittings, when you figure out the thread size........

Thanks guys, u were right, they had fitting for carb at O'Reillys for a few bucks. 3/8 hose, works.great, but now i have other issue. Time for New thread.
