Hello all im new here and trying to decode my vin number but am getting conflicting information. Looking through here i feel like i have the number right but checking on other websites i keep getting invalid or incorrect vin or believe it or not a 2013 chevy truck what am i doing wrong?

when i bought my second car a 1980 Caballero it didn't have enough numbers in the VIN but it was the right number..could this be happening to you?

Hi Chris I saw your post can you help decode my vin it is a 14 digit vin and I can't find any info for it as to decoding. The info online speaks to 13 digit vins 5D80L7R5013581
