im planning on getting this carburetor asap http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-M08600VS/

And i am wanting to get a braided steel fuel line for it, But my question is what fittings and length will i need, For those of you who has did this before ?? I was told a 6 AN fitting to hook it up to the carb but to the fuel pump i dont know,
You want to use -8AN minimum from the tank to the carb. Then use -6AN to supply the fuel bowls. I think I used like 18ft of the -8AN line when I did mine years ago. I've always liked Earl's Fittings, but there are many other manufactures out there. Summit even makes them if you want to save a few bucks.

With today's fuels, don't use a fuel line that isn't lined with teflon inner liner. Anything else will be compromised and at best smell like gas, at worst, leak and cause a fire.

I would use fuel injection hose and some good clamps.
The braiding just hides any problems, and the fittings are expensive.
Shouldn't be too much hose anyway, most of the fuel system should be steel.
Mainly transition from tank to line and line to carb.
