Well I'm a Gov't Contractor at Grissom Air Reserve Base in IN, Warehouse Specialist. We replaced the civil service people and now do the job with 1/2 the people, 1/2 (not quite) the pay, and 1/2 the benni's.

I'm a retired Naval Reservist (Command Senior Chief), and also retired from the Tennessee Valley Authority as a software development manager.

Currently, I'm a computer consultant doing mainframe data conversions. With today's computers I can do about 2/3s of the work out of my home and the other 1/3 on-site.

Life is great!

Body shop owner and car lover. Currently building a 1933 Ford Vicky street rod. (LT1 power). Someone is wanting it badly, so I'll probably sell it when finished and build something else.

Getting there is half the fun.

As little as possible! So far I've been pretty successful :p

Actually I work for Kaiser Permanente here in Atlanta as a Sr. Health Data Consultant (nice title eh?) Mostly it's utilization analysis and Data warehouse management.

I work at a liberal arts college here in the North East called The College of the Holy Cross. Kinda tough being one of the few "conservatives" here, but I do enjoy the atmosphere and the "scenery" here is better than the ECC Daily Babes!

I work in the Information Technology department and my main responsibility is network management using network monitoring software. I have it configured to watch my router, servers, applications, etc. And when something goes wrong, it emails me, pages me, and even talks to me.

Way to geeky, but it works for me and pays for my Elky hobby.

I'm currently a student at Western Carolina University, and I also own Stereo Integrity. This semester will definately be my last one up here - this University has screwed me over big-time with classes/requirements. After that, it's off to working part-time somewhere and trying to get my business off the ground. :)

Ummm, let's see. I'm an auto mechanic that studied journalism at the University of Houston. For the past ten years I have owned and operated an automotive a/c and electrical specialty shop in Round Rock, Texas.
In my spare time I play with elkies, keep elcaminocentral.com up and running and melt glass with my wife.

USN (Retired) and currently crew foreman (Transportation Dept) for Union Pacific Railroad. I just might be the guy your swearing at just as you pull up to that R/R crossing and those red flashers come on and the gates go down. So please don't flash me your IQ as we go by. Remember even your Elky was shipped by train at some point...maybe one day I'll bring you something else you'll like! :)

I am currently the head model photographer for the Victoria Secrets lingerie catalogs….Well not really. :p

Oh this is a tuff question for me at the moment. Currently looking for work in a new career.

But in brief and a little about myself… I was a UPS driver in San Francisco for over 14 years. After an injury and my love for art I became a graphic artist. Moved up and became the production manager of the biggest automotive classified ad paper in our area. After a company buy-out I lost my position like a lot of us here in the Bay Area. Currently working with a new home builder and working hard on getting my Real Estate license. It’s all who you know around here these days.

I have also had a mobile detailing service on the side for many years specializing in classic, exotic and collector’s cars. Retired from that now but still help out with a few special collectors now and then.

Biggest car I have ever waxed on waxed off…’36 Packard limo 12 cylinder. Oddest and smallest, this one will KILL YOU, I was hired to detail… Yugo's for Yugo of America ad campaign in the 80’s as these cars were to be ready for Road & Track and Car & Driver! But that’s another story!

My wife says my passion and love for cars is almost obsessive at times.

Anyone want to see my resume?

Help :!:

What I do....

I'm a Claims Manager for a huge, privately owned bus company in NJ.

Buses do a LOT of damage when they hit stuff, believe me.

Assembled heavy metal finishing equipment for a company for over 20 years until they moved away and gave me a buy-out. I finished up my working career as a Ford car/truck salesperson for about 12 years and when my wife received an Ameritech buy-out, we both retired and bought a 36 foot motorhome.

Wonder how a Ford salesperson could possibly own an Elky. My dad and two brothers retired from GM. I cut teeth on my older brothers Chevys. About 10 years ago, two of my brothers and myself all owned elkys. We all lived at least a couple of hundred miles apart and didn't know the others had elkys. How's that for an eerie elky story. Turn 59 tomorrow but since buying my 85 Elky SS a month ago, never felt younger.
