New gas tank arrived, old was in sandblast and came back as it was shot by a shotgun.
Started working with engine, measuring rods and mains, rods went to a shop for arp bolts, mains were good, perfect clearances there, crank needs only polishing.
Daughter learning all the time:cool2:
The blower is brand new Weiand 144, found the Superjection from ebay last winter, did not work, but with a little help from Bruce from Auto-nomics I fixed the electronics.
Now it works like hell and gives me a great pleasure.
The point was to keep the El Camino at its era, that's why I wanted Superjection, not todays efi. And also it fits under the hood, may surpice someone in the traffic lights.
Was at wheel dyno today, 258 hp from engine, quite good, stock 305 is making 170 hp
