I'm a member of another forum that has a thread similar to this one. I'd like to start one here. It's been great over there, seeing all the projects other guys are up to every day! Anything goes as long as it's something you've done to your Elky. Pictures are always a plus if possible.
I'll go 1st. Today I took my elky to the shop next door and had my air conditioning fixed. It had a leaky hose. The hose is replaced, the system is charged, and now it's blowing nice and cold!
Trying desperately to resolve my weak 200-4R. Trasnsgo is allegedly the solution...
installed, but not convinced.
I fear my transmission will be coming out, in a few thousand miles
Old Bear, my truck has a little over 48,000. I'm close enough to the end of the warranty period, that I'm willing to take the chance.
BTW, I'm a fan of the Transgo shift kit! It certainly made a difference in my transmission
The bed was in good shape but I wanted to insure the (JB Weld product) was going to stay once I put it down. I spent a couple of days sanding before rolling it out
My ‘81 has the chrome manual mirror on the driver’s door, but at sometime in the past, a non-matching mirror was put on the passenger door. I found a new rh manual mirror kit on eBay.
When installing the mirror, found the build sheet behind the upper door panel. Not a long list of options on my base model but still kinda cool to find it.
