Mounts on your dash to tell you when to shift in a manual transmission. You know, cause sometimes you can't hear your engine and also can't look at your tach.
It's definitely not a unit to tell you when to shift, LOL! I've never seen this unit, but I've seen another one that looks similar. The plug in the center looks like it plugs into the lock-up connector on a GM transmission.
why would you want it on a 350 ? you can change the lock up timeing with different pressure switches on these trans.in my malibu it had a 350 c and i got the pressure switch from chevy to lock it up at 50 to 55
Its a lockup converter controller and is adjustable to change lockup speed from 35-90 mph. I am running one and it works flawlessly . NO its definitely not a item to tell you when to shift !!
