Hi all, Is it possable to achieve the ellusive 5.5 lbs pressure with a mechanical fuel pump.

Aftermarket pressure regulator.... if your mechanical fuel pump puts out too much pressure.

Jpm, So are you saying , ditch mechanical fuel pump and go with elect. Pump /regulator?

No, I've had to use a pressure regulator on a mechanical pump that put out more than the 5.5 psi.

What pressure does your current pump put out?
