7.5 Posi rear end from an '87 Monte Carlo with 3.73 gears. Will this reare end required modification? Is a 7.5 even worth messing with?

Direct bolt in replacement. Done a couple of them. Only thing to consider is the RPM at highway speeds. If you still have the TH350, then you will be in excess of 3000 rpm when cruising.

On the other side, it will feel like you just installed a new engine!

it is a direct bolt in, just dont spend a lot of time over 100 mph. you will love the feel when you nail it:beer:

Ok, instead of getting the carb I need, I went ahead and got the posi rear diff. Picked it up in San Antonio yesterday. Only cost me $400.

The carb will have wait a couple of months, but I simply could not let this deal pass me by.

$400 for a 7.5 posi is on the high side if it hasn't has upgraded axles and stuff installed
