I will be trying to repalce my wiper transmission, in my 87 caballero, this weekend. I was wondering if there were any tips/tricks to it. Just trying to avoid any excess aggravation if possible. Thanks for your help.
its a very strait forward swap. 3 bolts on each tower and adjust the stopping point so the wipers are fully seated against thier stops.the wiper motor end is the stopping point adjustment point for the assembly.you put the driver side arm on then adjust the rod at the wiper motor so the arm is fully seated then then you install the pass side wiper arm against its stop.the pass arm is adjustable where the driver side isnt that is why you do the driver side first
Do yourself a favor and put some rags or something underneath it in the abyss, when you drop one of the screws you wont have to pull the fender to get it out :let_it_all_out:
