Anyone have input on World Product heads for small block Chevy? These have 2.02 intake1.6 exhaust valves. Also feature 3/8 screw in studs and guide plates. Double valve springs. 170 cc intake runners they do not look to be ported but I haven鈥檛 taken any valves out to see the pockets. Any information about these is greatly appreciated. 馃弫馃槑

Are you looking to upgrade them in performance. If so I would keep it simple

knock out the bowls. Light porting. Then port match them and throw a decent 5 angle vj on them with hand blending

should make for a very street friendly motor using that 170 cc port.

Much better to start with since those heads are not old 60's iron. So guides and valve train could have low miles. Fun to port heads IMO. Just don't hog em out as you probably know. Bowls are where the power comes from anyway.

Thanks for the reply. I have a set of 487 heads but when the rod broke in the donor motor it took out a head. We got a good deal on these and can鈥檛 wait to start looking for a short block 馃弫馃槑
