1980, made in Arlington TX, originally a V6 3 speed standard floor shift. Now a rebuilt 350 with an RV cam, 350 turbo trans with a shift kit. 10 bolt posi. rear end. Edelbrock intake and carb, twin electric cooling fans, floor shifter, air shocks, rally wheels, stereo with remote. A/C (should) work after switch is replaced. Rust free, pretty straight body. All in all not too bad!!:nanawrench:

Lots to do little time to get it done before Belton!!!
It will be there and it will be on the track!!!:nanawrench:

Yesterady, I got the title and tags, windows tinted, alarm installed, the A/C blowing cold through the vents (another thread coming about that) and fixed interior light problem.

Slow but steady ahead!!!:nanawrench:

To day I installed the new steering wheel I got from JMPDaddy. I had to redrill the hole for the horn wire to come through it was 180degrees off the steering wheel was up side down. All taken care of!!

I put in 3 new gauges instead of having 2 in different spots

I put in a 2" tach on the steering column

I also hooked my horn up to my car alarm (pics. upon request!!:poke:)
Now for the crap!!!!:let_it_all_out:
I just took it and washed it and went to my favorite auto parts house. Brought it back home and shut it off. Then SteelBeast came by and was like my jinx for the day. I went to start it and show him how good it ran. Well it wouldn't start. It would spit and sputter but would not run. Well I just did the plugs cap and rotor yesterday but I did buy a rebuild kit for the carb. So I guess that’s what it has to be (flooding) WRONG!!!!
After I rebuild the dang thing nothing changes but while I was trying to crank it over his uncle said he was hearing a ticking? I had him crank it and I heard it right away. I removed the dist cap and the metal piece had broken completely off the rotor. I don't even see how it started??
I never seen one do that before??? Cheap junk!!
And then to add insult to injury I went to test it and first it burned out the passenger tire and the next time in the same spot it burner out the driver’s side!!!!
No POSI!!!
I quit, enough for one day!!!:dontknow:
Danged old bad luck Steel Beast!!!:poke:
