1987 Dash Mat

I posted recently on the "New Member" board to introduce myself - I'm awaiting ownership of a 1987 Elkie, and cannot bloody wait. They're super rare in the UK and parts/accessories are thin on the ground.

I'm likely to keep it stock for a while, but the upper dash is quite badly cracked. I've seen threads on dash caps and covers, but they're non-existent in the UK and shipping is criminally expensive! A short term fix would be a dash mat - and I kinda like how ugly/retro they are too!

My question is, would the one listed below fit an 87? It only specifies 78-80, but I don't know how different the dashboard would be?

I'll add a (poor quality) interior pic of the car from the dealer site too:

Thanks. I saw that but wasn't sure if it was just a trick of perspective.

The 82-88 one seems to just be a top cover. I've definitely seen them extending over the fascia too which added to my confusion.

RT84, the way I figure it, the dash is the most visible and upfront item that I see when driving my 87 El Camino. Also, a cracked and discolored dash in full view through the huge windshield just distracts from any restored classic car. I'm slowly working on the rust issues that are an inherent part of owning a 34 year old vehicle. So, hopefully, with time, patience, and finances, I'll have a fully resto-modified car to enjoy and hand-off to the grandkids.

The reason for the higher cost is because it is NOT a mat or cover but a full dashboard replacement. I have not received it due to "an accounting error" at OPGI which I don't understand because there was a charge on my credit card the day I finalized the order. Also, due to high shipping to Hawaii, I am using a freight forwarder rather than have OPGI send it directly to me. I will post pictures of the product when I receive it.

I replaced the matte cover in my Caballero with a ABS Coverlay. At a glance you can see it's a cover but I think it looks a bit better than the fabric and it's a lot easier to keep clean. The color was a pretty close match and it was easy to install. Unfortunately the shipping to the UK would probably cost as much as the product.

Tbh I've not looked into anything yet. I'm still awaiting the bloody government transport agency to process the paperwork so I can get the car registered and finally pick it up from the dealer. Other than a brief test drive and look round the car, I'm not sure what all it needs, so waiting to get properly stuck in before making any orders.
