I have a problem with filling my gas tank, besides the price. If I fill it quickly it "burps" (for lack of a better term) back and spills onto the ground. If I fill it very slowly it does OK. Do I have some kind of a venting problem here?

Rob, That is common on alot of the Classic Veh.'s. You can try and see if after placeing the nozzle in the Tank, lift the handle of the nozzle towards the Bed of the Elky and see if that helps. It's usally caused by the design and bends in the filler neck, causing a back pressure build up, or as you said, VENTING PROB. Alot of time it's just something you will learn to deal with unless you go to a newer modern tank as I did. Hope this helps.
