finally got my baby, a 1970 el camino!! however, for some reason the previous owner had the car painted, but without clear coat. the color looks good, (a little flat of course), but there are a couple of spots that needs touched up (see pictures).. what i am thinking is that since most of the trim is already off the car i could take it to maaco, have them touch up the spots and then apply clear coat to the whole car? as you can understand i am on a budget, and realize that you get what you pay for... my question is - does anyone have any experience with maaco touch-ups? what about their clear coat? does this sound like a viable option, or should i wait untill i can afford to repaint the whole car?
any help is greatly appreciated, thanks
