Where does the oxygen sensor go on the engine with duel exhaust and no crossover?

I didn't know it could be in the pipe only on 1 side. The 78 doesn't have catalytic converter. So this sensor only needs to read one side of the engine?

Thank you very much for your help. What is the best way to run the wires for it , before the brake booster or over the top of it? I'm putting it on the driver side.

Thank you. I'm having some problems with the exhaust pipes have little bumps in them. Also I don't think I can drill them at the angle they need to be due to the size of my cordless drill. Now I'll have to try and find a shorter drill.

It’s only 6 inches from the manifold to the bend , so I need go further towards the back. There’s no holes in the pipe but too rough to clamp on the fitting for the sensor. I may have to try putting it on the passenger side. My wife just ordered an attachment for the drill that might make it so I can drill in a shorter space. She might have to pull the switch while I hold it.

Thank you. I may have to do that. I would have to have it towed there to get it done . It’s not running, due to the Sniper EFI system is not working yet.

I have a very nice exhaust pipe on the passenger side. I'm thinking of putting it on it. What would be the best route to run the wires for it there? Are there any problems that I could have with it mounted there?
